Comstock Park Public Schools

On May 2, 2023 our community will vote on a school bond proposal for Comstock Park Public Schools. If approved by voters, this bond would provide $59,460,000 for district-wide improvements with an estimated no tax rate increase over the current rate.

SAFETY & SECURITY

  • Update building access controls

  • Renovate select building entrances & secure entry vestibules

  • Update master keying system

  • Exterior LED lighting

  • Parking lot improvements

  • Surveillance system upgrades

  • Sidewalk replacements

  • Accessibility improvements

  • New buses to keep the fleet modern and safe

EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS

  • Technology upgrades

  • Replace outdated flooring

  • Replace select classroom furniture

  • Renovate science, art, and life sciences classrooms 
    at Comstock Park High School

  • Performing arts upgrades & renovations, including 
    new seating, lighting and sound systems

HEALTH & EFFICIENCY

  • Improve air quality with major mechanical upgrades 
    in all buildings

  • Renovate Pine Island cafeteria

  • Improve Pine Island building envelope

  • Renovate & expand Stoney Creek kitchen

  • New bathroom & classroom sinks at Stoney Creek 

  • Upgrade select plumbing infrastructure

  • Improve select roofing

  • Mill Creek cafeteria renovation

  • New auxiliary gym to increase access for practice 
    space and youth programming
